New York Here We Come

It’s finally official (you know it’s official when it’s on Facebook), we’re bringing HARD FRENCH to Brooklyn on September 18th for an SF-NYC collision that will not soon be forgotten.  Get our plane tickets now and tell all your NY friends not to miss the babes, beer and bbq that sf has come to love.

A San Francisco New York City collision
Saturday afternoon soul music dance party

September 18th 2010, 3pm – 8pm, $5
East River Bar (97 South 6th Street, Brooklyn)
DJs on the patio. Hard Dancing. Hard Cruising.

all they way from San Francisco:
DJ Carnita & DJ Brown Amy (Hard French, the Real Nitty Gritty)
playing the 60s girl groups, early ’70s soulful funk, boogaloo, garage & Northern Soul stompers

special guest:
La Rubia (He’s a Rebel)
Spinning the very best in soul, girl groups, hormonal teenage rebel rock and psychedelia.

the Hard French crew are invading NYC with San Francisco’s favorite daytime soul music party. This is a party for everyone — where drag queens mingle with lesbians, leather daddy’s soul dance with Cholas, jocks make out with twinks who grind with the activists and everyone eats a hot dog. The party is being DJ’d by resident and soul music wizards DJ Carnita and DJ Brown Amy from SF with special NYC guest LA RUBIA from Nowhere Bar’s only vintage Rock n Roll soul party for the gays by the gays, HE’S A REBEL. They, along with the rest of the Hard French Crew will be flying out to recreate the Hard French experience at East River Bar. Come prepared for DJs outside on the patio, our infamous photo booth, a tasty food cart with classic NYC food, and most of all our motto – HARD DANCING and HARD CRUISING.
