Hard French is Bringing all of our Queers to BYOQ this weekend!
We couldn’t be more excited to participate in this year’s BYOQ (Bring Your Own Queer) Festival happening this Saturday the 23rd in Golden Gate Park! Why are we so excited? A) Because we’ll be spinning our favorite 45′s in Golden Gate Park’s historic bandshell (that rad dome between the De Young & the CA Academy of sciences). B) Because we’ll be sharing said scenic locale with tons of queer performers including the guys from Honey Soundsystem, Jo Boyer & more. C) Because Hard French has the most special guest DJ ever– John Cameron Mitchell, the director of two of our favorite films Hedwig & Shortbus (and the upcoming Rabbit Hole which made Carnita cry, like 3 times, when he saw it in Toronto)! John will be playing a funky 70′s babymaking set to kick off Hard French o’clock at BYOQ. The fun starts at noon and we go on at 3pm, so don’t take too long at brunch, ya’ll.
